How to secure your PC from viruses in pendrive and USB devices?

Most of the virus attacks are coming from two sources; internet and USB devices. USB devices plays a major role in spreading the worms and trojans throughout the PC's. These viruses infects the PC if we access those USB devices and some times it is difficult to prevent such virus attacks even if we have a good antivirus.
