To disable registry editing in Windows follow the steps:-
1) Select Start -> Run and enter the command 'gpedit.msc'
2) The group policy editor of Windows will open then, now select
User configuration -> Administrative template -> System -> Prevent access to registry editing tools (double click ) -> Choose 'Enable' -> Apply.
